Lillian "Lily" Otto, M.A. is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate*.
Lily is originally from Austin, Tx. She received her bachelor's degree in child development from Baylor University and earned her Master's degree in counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. She completed her practicum at a private practice in Dallas where she helped women overcome the challenges of leaving an abusive relationship.
Lily has worked in various settings where she's used her skills in counseling to serve children and families. Lily truly loves working with all age groups, as she believes a great deal of growth and change in counseling come from the therapeutic relationship. As someone who is highly relational herself, Lily is gifted in creating a safe space for others to feel known, connected and understood.
Lily considers it a privilege to walk alongside children, adolescents and families as they move through the highs and lows of life, traumatic experiences, emotional distress, behavioral issues and wounded relationships. Helping children and families grow through these experiences while building stronger connections with one another brings her the greatest joy. Lily is trained in EMDR therapy (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), play therapy, and trauma counseling.
Lily is a talented musician, loves spending time with her husband and little boy, enjoys the outdoors and all kinds of food. Lily also loves to travel and try new hobbies. The past two years she's tried skiing and rock climbing, and completely loved them!
