If you’ve ever assumed expressive arts were just for preschoolers, you’re not alone.
But here’s what the science says: creative expression triggers regulation in all age groups by engaging the default mode network, bypassing verbal barriers, and helping trauma integration happen safely.
In this 3-hour workshop, I’ll show you how to adapt four evidence-based expressive arts techniques across the lifespan; from play-based drawing to somatic journaling and trauma-informed movement.
If you’ve ever watched a client draw their pain instead of speak it...
If you’ve wondered how creativity could support trauma healing…
If you’re craving hands-on interventions backed by neuroscience…
Then this training is for you!
In this live online CE workshop, you’ll learn and practice four expressive arts techniques designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional integration, and relational repair; for clients of all ages.

Zoom- Live Online Experiential Workshop
Art is more than a creative outlet. It is a healing force that speaks directly to the nervous system. This dynamic and experiential workshop explores how expressive arts support neurobiological regulation, emotional integration, and relational healing across developmental stages. Participants will examine the role of art as a reparative response to stress, trauma, and even collective conflict. Four distinct expressive arts techniques will be demonstrated and practiced, with space for reflection and application to various clinical populations.
As a licensed therapist and expressive arts practioner, Antoinette is passionate about bridging neuroscience, creativity, and clinical healing. She created this training to empower therapists to move beyond talk and into transformation.
