Hannah Bevers, MS, LPC-Associate, earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University with a specialty in Child and Adolescent Counseling. She is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming space where children, teens, and adults can feel truly seen, heard, and valued. Hannah specializes in Child-Centered Play Therapy, a compassionate approach that honors each child’s natural capacity for growth and healing through play. In sessions, she partners with children to help them express emotions, build confidence, and process life’s challenges in ways that feel safe and empowering.
In addition to her work with children, Hannah enjoys supporting teens and adults who are navigating trauma, grief, or transitions. She often integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused techniques to help clients gain insight, develop coping skills, and move toward meaningful change. Hannah completed her internship at Mosaic Family Services in Dallas, where she provided therapy to survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual assault, ranging in age from 4 to 61. She also trained at the SMU Center for Family Counseling, offering individual therapy to clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. These experiences deepened her trauma-informed lens and strengthened her belief in every person’s ability to heal and grow within a supportive relationship.
Hannah is known for her open-hearted, loving, and encouraging nature. Her background as a substitute teacher taught her the power of connection and the importance of meeting each child with patience and curiosity.
She became a counselor after experiencing firsthand how transformative therapy can be and now feels honored to walk alongside others as they find their voice and build resilience.
Outside of her work, Hannah enjoys needlepointing, taking morning walks with her dog Oakley, and reconnecting with her playful spirit through games like Candy Land.
