Ke’Osha Gardner is a dedicated and compassionate counselor-in-training who brings warmth, curiosity, and genuine care to her work with children, teens, and adults. Her approach is person-centered, rooted in empathy and respect for each individual’s unique story. Ke’Osha is passionate about helping children build emotional awareness, self-expression, and regulation through the healing power of play. She believes that beneath every behavior lies a need or feeling waiting to be understood, and she creates a safe, nurturing environment where clients can explore, grow, and heal at their own pace.
Ke’Osha earned her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University and is currently pursuing her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lamar University. Before joining Nourish Play Therapy, she spent two years working as a Registered Behavior Technician at Meem Behavioral Institute in Arlington, where she implemented Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for children on the autism spectrum. Through this experience, Ke’Osha developed a strong understanding of child development, learning, and behavior, as well as a deep appreciation for the emotional world beneath the surface of each child’s actions. Her academic studies, particularly in Human Growth and Development, have further strengthened her insight into how relationships, environment, and early experiences shape a person’s emotional life across each stage of development.
At Nourish Play Therapy, Ke’Osha provides a warm, supportive space for children and families to explore feelings, build coping skills, and foster connection. She enjoys working with both children and adults, guiding clients toward greater self-awareness and helping them identify their needs and goals in life.
Known by others as kind, determined, and thoughtful, Ke’Osha blends professionalism with heartfelt care.
Outside of her work, she loves making candles and wax melts, spending time with loved ones, and reminiscing about her favorite childhood games; Go Fish and Connect Four which still remind her of the joy and simplicity of play.
