Tamra Williams, M.A. is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate*. 


Tamra Williams is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate specializing in play therapy and working with teens and adults facing life challenges, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. With a passion for helping individuals and families heal, Tamra brings her experience from the Children’s Advocacy Center, where she supported children and their families through the aftermath of abuse and neglect. Her therapeutic approach combines evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and play therapy, to provide tailored care for her clients.


Tamra is committed to helping parents feel confident in their roles and thrive in their relationships. She works tirelessly to support her clients in achieving their goals and fostering resilience. Outside of her professional practice, Tamra volunteers at her church, offering mental health support to her community. She believes in the importance of creating safe spaces where individuals can explore their emotions, develop coping skills, and experience growth. Tamra’s passion, empathy, and expertise make her a trusted resource for those navigating life’s challenges.

*A Licensed Professional Counselor Associate is a person who has completed their Master's Degree and is licensed in the State of Texas to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. The "intern" status designates that the license holder is within the first 3,000 hours of their clinical work experience and meets weekly with a Licensed Supervisor for clinical guidance and direction.
